Happy Friday, Wildcats!  I hope you have had a productive week filled with many colored WCW tickets!  Today is Friday, May 12, 2017 and these are your morning announcements:

Attention all Wildcats interested in cheering for WHS next year!  Please be self- directed to the student store to pick up a flyer that has all the information and deadlines you will need to know to participate.  Be involved!  If cheering is something you would like to experience, stop by for a flyer.  Cheering just might be the change you are looking for.

Lee and Douglass Choir have a rare opportunity to sing the National Anthem at an upcoming River Cats Game! Join us for a Monday evening of relaxing fun watching the River Cats play the Fresno Grizzles.  Raley Field will be hosting Family Night for Lee and Douglass students and their families on June 5th.  The gates will open at 6pm, and the first pitch will be thrown at 7:05.  If you think your family might enjoy this outdoor adventure, take a moment to see Ms. Dalmacio for more details.

Attention 8th Grade Students: On Monday May 15th, some Woodland High School Counselors and EAOP representatives will be onsite during 5th period to talk to you about the Springboard Academy taking place this summer for our outgoing 8th graders.  The summer program is designed to help you transition into high school and will provide you with 5 elective credits.  We have 50 spots available for our students and have already started receiving a lot of completed applications.  Based on teacher recommendations, many of you will be receiving a pass during 4th period on Monday to come hear the presentation right after lunch and decide if you would like to apply.  The pass will contain the presentation location and there will be a sign in sheet.  For any questions, please talk to your counselor.

Have a wonderful day…Rock the Wildcat Way and enjoy raking in the colored tickets.  GOOOO  WILDCATS!!!!
